Creative Services Team Manager

We are looking for a Creative Services Team Manager to lead our small creative services team in creating and managing the design of corporate communications for our clients. This position is an evolution of our creative services team and we are looking for a dynamic creative leader that can bridge between the creative world and the business world. 

Position Goals: 
• Assess complex design requests and suggest creative ideas and innovative solutions
• Lead the creation of deliverables that visualize the complexity of business in an easy to absorb ways that engage people
• Manage available resources and obtain additional resources, tools, and vendors as needed
• Build a self-serve creative library and establish creative guidelines for the Future State team
• Maintain relationships across the organization and effectively delegate the creation of assets

• Brings a mix of artistic, marketing, and business expertise to the position
• Has a natural eye for design and portfolio of corporate communications deliverables that demonstrate a passion for delivering dynamic ideas across a variety of industries
• Demonstrates outstanding attention to detail and quality even with tight turn-arounds and deadlines
• Can effectively support large, complex projects and teams as an on-site design point of contact, providing outstanding design support and leadership

Position Activities:
• Develop digital & printed visuals/graphics for various internal and client-facing deliverables, including but not limited to emails, PowerPoint presentations, event graphics, storyboards, flyers, logos, creative campaigns, marketing materials, internal/external communications, brochures, product packaging, e-blasts, digital ads, executive presentations, and other collateral that are creative yet adheres to our client’s brand
• Lead phases of creative development including conceptual development, brainstorm meetings and establishment of visual aesthetics and written communications
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather product knowledge, execute projects, track outcomes, and refine approaches based on data
• Oversee the creative team by assigning, scheduling, and overseeing department project timelines
• Ensure team and other departments adhere to our current Visual Communications processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and proposing and creating processes and tools to support design operations
• Anticipates and resolves issues and obstacles while supporting and mentoring team members

• Background in traditional and digital media
• BA or BFA in design fields 
• 6-10 years of experience in a Graphic Design role with mastery level of illustration and infographics creation
• Adobe Creative Suite, including PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator (on Windows OS)
• Microsoft Office including Advanced PowerPoint 
• Collaboration and Project Management tools: Smartsheet,, Workplace by Facebook or similar
• Experience with copywriting in different styles for varying audience needs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working with teams in professional services or large, matrixed organization 
• Professional client service manner and ability to interact with all levels of management
• Bonus: Video editing, Animation, UI/UX, Understanding front end development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
